We receive many emails regarding the site and some make extremely valid points. Some of the more important questions and comments will be posted here. Almost all are edited, and will never disclose the senders name or business 

Question :  . . . found the site by accident - looks just what's needed. Will contact you to clarify details concerning advertising our  Club. I assume you will be covering the Midlands in the categories? 

Answer : Yes - we most certainly will

Question :  I have not seen this site before. Will it be possible to list a restaurant? Would it be placed in the 'Scene / General' group?

Answer : Yes it would. That category will cover almost every area within a Gay lifestyle. Where appropriate we will create sub-menu's (eg: Restaurants) to ensure every listing can be found almost instantly.

Question :  London and Brighton seem to be your targeted areas - is that right?

Answer : Not at all! The site owners and administrator live in London and Brighton hence their home city clubs and events getting early listing, and of course London and Brighton have by far the biggest Gay communities in the UK with huge numbers of people traveling there each week! - but fear not, every city or part of the UK will receive equal coverage. As numbers increase, we propose to sub-menu by county or city. So it will be possible to select 'Hardcore Clubs in Kent' or 'Dance Clubs in Manchester'.

Question :  I found a link to 'Gay-Scene-Uk' on a dating site personal profile. Is that how the site is going to be marketed?

Answer :  Although any advertising is good advertising, it will take more than that I'm afraid. It seems someone had been to a Club we are listing, and mentioned in his profile how he found it. There's no better advertising than that!

Question :  How will Clubs be listed. Will it be 'first come - first served' ?

Answer : We consider listing Clubs in alphabetical order is far the best idea as it virtually guarantees viewers look at the entire list. And many people will be looking for opening times of specific Clubs, so an alphabetical order will make that easy. If Clubs are listed by 'stature' with the biggest names at the top, it almost certainly means much of the list will be ignored which is not good for the small or newer clubs. Our aim is to give the best, and equal exposure to every club, regardless of size.

Question :  Will you be listing personal profiles from individuals?

Answer : Not on this site I'm afraid. Selected personal profiles are often displayed on admins personal website, so you might care to look at that - there is a link at the bottom of the page. Escorts can of course have a profile and photo displayed on the personal services page. Go to this page    to contact us.

Question :  We are a private hire Car Company based in Central London. Would it be beneficial advertising on your Gay listing site? 

Answer : An educated guess is that after a hectic night out lots of people would be glad to have a London 'Mini Cab' company phone number! It seems a very good idea, and we will gladly create an appropriate 'Car hire' sub-menu.

Question :  I was searching 'Yahoo UK' for 'Rent Boys' (probably the best search engine for kink) and found your site on the 1st page! I was looking for photo pages or videos if I'm honest - will you be doing these? Or what sites can you recommend.

Answer : Thanks for the feedback - It seems the site worked well for you. We are not creating photo sites ourselves, we are marketing other peoples sites and business's and are now listing Gay adult and pay sites which I'm sure will interest you!

Question :  Is the site aimed mainly at the adult and fetish Gay scene?

Answer : We are catering for the whole Gay and Gay friendly scene, but it should be remembered that far more people search for Sex clubs than for Social clubs - in fact the highest traffic sites on the Internet are explicit adult sites! As this site's index develops, you will see the whole scene covered, from 'vanilla' dance clubs, hotels, pubs and Gay interest business's, to the kink and hardcore aspects of the scene which are in fact the major growth areas. Incidentally when you see this icon displayed you are about to enter an adult content area!

Question :  What has lateral marketing got to do with it. What is lateral marketing?

Answer : In a few words?!! When any product is marketed it is normal for other products to become equally marketable to the same target group. Eg: when someone visits Gay Scene UK to find an Adult club, he'll see a link to Fetish gear suppliers, and after some browsing he might buy handcuffs or some fetish wear despite that not being the reason he visited the site! This is why gardeners will have pop up ads on estate agents websites, and insurance companies advertise in car magazines. By bringing even loosely related business's into the same 'shop window' your market place and profitability can double.
