CHARACTER PROFILES: THE WILSON FAMILY
Mother of two Esther Wilson finds life difficult looking after her children Tammy and Tommy. Esther’s a friendly woman and gets on with most of the neighbours. Mike, her husband has lost his job and has been playing away behind her back. Tommy’s a terror, who constantly winds up his older sister Tammy, who has her heart set on becoming a famous pop star at 14, she’s just taken her options at school and has auditioned to appear on ‘Bone Idol’ a talent contest on TV. No one believes in her but Tammy is persistent and her will is strong, which eventually pays off.
